SUMMER FOOD

for me a symbol for summer, vitality, freshness – in mythology in ancient Greece, citrus trees were considered sacred trees, blessed by the gods. This is how the god Hermes is said to have created the lemon tree to celebrate the beauty of nature. In Chinese culture, citrus fruits represent good luck and prosperity. In some societies, lemons acted as a symbol of status and wealth. In Rome, China and Egypt, lemons were considered to be a valuable luxury, and the most elite households would decorate their homes and gardens with lemon trees as a way to display their wealth to their visitors. Due to its bright yellow color, lemons are also associated with hope, happiness, abundance, and vitality.
